Steelbands
The steelpan, or steel drum, is the national instrument of Trinidad and Tobago. Discovered by accident in the 1930s this unique musical instrument has become one of the fastest growing musical styles in the world. There are a many options ranging from soloist to quartet or larger.
The video above is from a recent quartet performance with Matt, Jeff Neitzke, Wil and Erynn Krebs at an event for the Shaker Heights Arts Council. Found Sounds used to book under the name "7 Mile Isle."
